Position: Floor Manager

Classification: Full-Time | Non-Exempt

Reports To: Assistant General Manager / General Manager


Overview:

Seeking a hands-on, service-driven Floor Manager to lead day-to-day front-of-house operations and ensure our guests experience exceptional service at every turn. The ideal candidate will bring energy, leadership, and a commitment to excellence in hospitality, helping to support and elevate both staff performance and guest satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations & Guest Experience

  • Lead front-of-house during service, managing flow and upholding service standards
  • Act as the point person on the floor, responding promptly to guest feedback or concerns
  • Oversee dining room readiness, ensuring cleanliness, proper setup, and ambiance
  • Assist in opening/closing procedures and ensure smooth shift transitions
  • Enforce compliance with health, safety, and liquor laws


Team Leadership & Training

  • Support the training and development of FOH staff through mentorship and daily coaching
  • Ensure team is knowledgeable about menus, ingredients, allergens, and service steps
  • Help maintain appropriate staffing levels and shift coverage
  • Foster a positive and respectful work environment, leading by example


Cleanliness, Inventory & Supplies

  • Conduct pre-service walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, organization, and equipment readiness
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs to management
  • Assist with receiving deliveries and ensuring proper storage


Administrative Support

  • Participate in service meetings and contribute to team goal setting
  • Help with timesheet management, tip outs, and daily reporting as needed
  • Maintain accurate notes on service issues or guest feedback for leadership review


Requirements

  • 1–2 years of restaurant supervisory experience or strong FOH leadership experience in high-volume settings
  • Food Handlers Certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, guest service, and team dynamics
  • Familiarity with POS systems and table management tools
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and team development
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
