The Opportunity

An iconic, large-scale visitor attraction is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead brand positioning and growth strategy for a globally recognized, experience-driven destination rooted in education, innovation, and immersive guest experiences.

This role is ideal for a full-funnel marketing leader with strong B2C customer acquisition expertise, proven leadership ability, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Director of Marketing will drive visitation, revenue growth, and long-term brand impact through integrated marketing and communications initiatives.

Compensation


Base Salary: $104,100 – $140,500 annually


Additional compensation may include a performance-based bonus or incentive opportunities. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive leadership to align marketing strategy with revenue growth, attendance goals, and long-term business objectives
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across advertising, media, partnerships, digital, social, and content channels
  • Lead public relations strategy to expand media presence and maintain strong brand positioning
  • Drive digital marketing initiatives including website strategy, SEO/SEM, paid media, email marketing, and social platforms to increase ticket sales and repeat visitation
  • Oversee content development that strengthens emotional connection, engagement, and brand loyalty supported by performance analytics and ROI tracking
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional marketing team while managing agency partners, budgets, KPIs, and executive reporting


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 8+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience within attractions, hospitality, tourism, entertainment, or experiential industries
  • Strong expertise in digital marketing, brand strategy, content development, social media, and public relations
  • Demonstrated experience managing marketing budgets with measurable ROI outcomes
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a live-experience environment
