Exclusive new private membership club in Los Angeles is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Club Director to oversee all club & membership operations. The Club Director is the strategic leader responsible for ensuring an exceptional member experience, driving membership growth and retention, and overseeing all key guest-facing operations. This role concentrates heavily on membership engagement while supervising concierge services, events, and programming to deliver seamless luxury hospitality at every touchpoint. Key Responsibilities:
Membership Leadership:
- Develop, implement, and execute strategic plans for membership recruitment, retention, and engagement.
- Oversee the full life cycle of membership applications, interviews, vetting, onboarding, and renewals.
- Maintain a personal connection with members, ensuring their satisfaction, involvement, and loyalty.
- Curate member touchpoints including personalized welcomes, bespoke services, and exclusive offerings.
- Partner with marketing to drive referral initiatives, special membership campaigns, and events targeting new prospects.
- Manage membership database (CRM) ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and proactive communication.
- Track and analyze membership metrics, engagement trends, and overall satisfaction data.
- Handle sensitive member concerns with discretion, empathy, and efficiency.
Concierge & Guest Services Oversight:
- Supervise and support the Concierge and Front Desk team, ensuring the highest standard of personalized service.
- Oversee the curation of exclusive partnerships, concierge referral services, and lifestyle offerings for members.
- Ensure front desk and concierge team members are trained, polished, and empowered to deliver exceptional hospitality.
- Maintain a proactive presence within the club to anticipate and address members’ needs.
Event & Programming Leadership:
- Collaborate with the Events and Programming teams to design and deliver a world-class calendar of events.
- Align programming with member interests, market trends, and the club’s brand identity.
- Personally attend and represent leadership at key events, strengthening relationships and community engagement.
Operational Management & Leadership:
- Set the tone for the club’s culture, guest interaction standards, and service ethos.
- Recruit, hire, mentor, and evaluate team members across membership, concierge, and programming.
- Manage budgets for membership services, front desk operations, and events support.
- Ensure compliance with all club policies, local laws, and confidentiality protocols.
- Act as a key liaison between members and executive leadership, voicing member feedback and shaping club enhancements.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in luxury hospitality, private clubs, or exclusive membership environments.
- Proven experience managing high-net-worth clientele with impeccable discretion.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and attention to operational detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Deep knowledge of luxury trends, fine dining, arts, entertainment, and lifestyle services.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, membership software, and concierge systems.
- Polished, professional, and able to remain composed under pressure.
- Bilingual skills (especially in Chinese, Korean, or Japanese) a plus.

- Base Salary - $130k-$150k DOE
