Position Overview
The Executive Chef will oversee all aspects of culinary operations including menu development, food quality standards, kitchen leadership, and financial performance. This individual will play a key role in building a best-in-class culinary program centered on ingredient quality, nutrition-focused cooking, and operational excellence.
The role requires a hands-on leader capable of developing culinary talent, maintaining rigorous standards, and executing consistently at scale while delivering refined, thoughtful cuisine.
Key Responsibilities
Culinary Leadership
- Develop and execute innovative menus focused on high-quality, nutrition-forward cuisine
- Establish and maintain rigorous culinary standards across all food preparation and presentation
- Lead recipe development, testing, and documentation to ensure consistency and scalability
Kitchen Operations
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency in high-volume service environments
- Implement systems and procedures that maintain quality while supporting operational speed
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and food-handling regulations
Team Leadership & Development
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing culinary team
- Implement training programs focused on technique, recipe adherence, and culinary excellence
- Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement
Financial & Operational Management
- Manage food cost, labor, and kitchen budgets while maintaining premium ingredient standards
- Partner with procurement to source high-quality products and maintain inventory discipline
- Analyze performance metrics to optimize menu pricing and operational efficiency
Culinary Experience & Engagement
- Collaborate with leadership on special events, VIP dining, and unique culinary experiences
- Continuously refine menus based on feedback and evolving culinary trends
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking Executive Chefs or Culinary Directors with experience in highly respected restaurant or hospitality groups.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- 10+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience
- Executive Chef or Corporate Culinary leadership experience in notable restaurant groups or hospitality brands
- Background in fine dining, elevated hospitality, or Michelin / James Beard recognized kitchens strongly preferred
- Proven success leading high-volume culinary operations while maintaining premium standards
- Strong financial acumen including food cost, labor management, and operational efficiency
- Demonstrated ability to build and mentor strong culinary teams
