The Assistant General Manager of Food & Beverage to play a critical role in our opening leadership team. This position is hands-on and operational, ensuring seamless execution of our beverage program and food partnerships. The AGM directly oversees the Bar Manager and acts as the primary liaison for all third-party food vendors. Additionally, they serve as the Manager on Duty or Lead Manager during assigned shifts, ensuring floor operations run smoothly.
While titled AGM, this role is designed for a highly experienced operator—ideal for someone who has previously held a General Manager or comparable leadership role in the New York City market. A deep understanding of high-volume, premium hospitality environments is essential.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in high impact, multi-faceted hospitality environments with significant volume and high standards of performance
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in beverage program development and management
- Excellent communication at all levels
- Strong leadership ability
- Strong financial acumen
- The ability to manage under pressure and make decisions in real time
- The experience to operate at a high level under the direction of the management team
- The ability to manage multiple operational and managerial tasks simultaneously
- Personal maturity to deal with confidential information and/or issues with discretion and sound judgment
