Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in leading daily restaurant operations and creating an exceptional guest experience.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, developing people, and helping drive consistent execution across the restaurant. The AGM will serve as a key leader within the management team, supporting service, staffing, training, operational standards, and overall restaurant performance.

The ideal candidate is confident, approachable, and highly engaged with both guests and team members, with the ability to step in wherever needed to keep the operation running smoothly.

What You Bring to the Table

• Partner with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and service
• Lead from the floor while maintaining an energetic, polished, and welcoming environment
• Hire, onboard, train, schedule, coach, and develop restaurant team members
• Build a positive and accountable culture centered around hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Maintain strong service, cleanliness, food quality, and sanitation standards
• Step into service roles and support the team during high-volume periods as needed
• Support labor management, scheduling, inventory, receiving, purchasing, and cash handling
• Assist with payroll, reporting, and other administrative responsibilities
• Identify operational challenges, waste, and inefficiencies and help implement solutions
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism and thoughtful service recovery
• Partner with culinary leadership on service, menu, and operational initiatives
• Support the General Manager with restaurant financials, cost controls, and overall performance
• Help develop future leaders and strengthen the restaurant’s management team

Required Work Experience

• Previous management experience in a full-service restaurant environment
• Demonstrated success leading and developing front-of-house teams
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, service standards, and guest relations
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, cash handling, and administrative responsibilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Preferred Work Experience

• Experience as an Assistant General Manager or similar leadership role
• Experience in a polished or elevated, high-volume, full-service restaurant
• Experience with restaurant financials, budgeting, labor management, and operational controls
• Experience developing supervisors or other emerging restaurant leaders
