Description:

A new upscale café and marketplace concept is seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead the opening and ongoing operations of its Burbank location. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a dynamic hospitality experience centered around seasonality, freshness, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including service, staffing, inventory, and guest satisfaction
• Lead hiring, training, and development of team members to deliver exceptional hospitality and maintain a positive, productive workplace culture
• Develop and implement operational systems and SOPs to support consistency and excellence across all departments
• Collaborate with culinary and retail teams to ensure seamless integration of café, catering, and marketplace offerings
• Monitor financial performance, including labor and food costs, and implement strategies to achieve budgeted goals
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Serve as the face of the business in the community, fostering strong guest relationships and a welcoming environment

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in a high-volume café, fast-casual restaurant, or similar hospitality environment
• Strong background in new openings, including systems development, team onboarding, and culture building
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• A hands-on, service-driven approach and a passion for seasonal, quality-driven food and beverage
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and high expectations
