THE ROLE
The Assistant General Manager, you’ll work alongside the General Manager to lead daily operations and ensure excellence across all
areas. You’ll balance operational oversight with hands-on leadership, supporting the team to achieve goals in
hospitality, sales, and profitability. The AGM is an energetic, people-first leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and ensures
every shift delivers on our promise of hospitality and consistency.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Support the General Manager in leading all aspects of food hall operations.
• Oversee front-of-house, back-of-house, and bar operations with a focus on service standards and quality.
• Recruit, train, and develop hourly team members and department leaders.
• Ensure consistent execution of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational standards.
• Perform opening and closing responsibilities, including bar setup and walk-throughs.
• Manage labor controls, daily inventory, and cost efficiencies.
• Engage directly with guests to ensure satisfaction, resolve concerns, and build retention.
• Partner with operations, entertainment, and marketing leaders to execute events and brand activations.
• Enforce compliance with all policies, procedures, and local/state/federal laws.
• Maintain accountability across the leadership team through coaching and performance management.
• Support vendor relationships, purchasing, and cost control practices.
• Step in as acting General Manager when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 4+ years of food & beverage management experience; multi-unit experience preferred.
• Strong bar management experience required.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable.
• Fun, energetic, and passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in labor management and inventory controls.
• Excellent communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Manager Food Handler’s and State Alcohol Serving Certifications required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 lbs.
