Executive Chef – Multi-Concept Hospitality Group

A growing, design-forward hospitality group is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to oversee culinary operations across a diverse portfolio, including a brasserie, a high-energy cocktail bar with a robust food program, and a café/pastry concept.
This role is ideal for a seasoned culinary leader who has led high-performing kitchens and is excited to help shape the structure, systems, and long-term culinary direction of an expanding restaurant group.
Working in close partnership with ownership and operations leadership, the Executive Chef will drive menu development, operational consistency, and financial performance across all outlets while building a strong and scalable culinary leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee culinary operations across multiple concepts, ensuring consistency, quality, and execution
- Lead a comprehensive operational review of kitchen systems, identifying opportunities for efficiency and structure
- Refine prep, station organization, and production workflows to support high-volume service
- Guide menu development across concepts, balancing creativity with operational feasibility
- Reactivate and develop key programs (e.g., raw bar, café production systems)
- Partner with leadership to enhance guest experience and drive revenue opportunities
- Build and mentor a strong leadership bench, including CDCs and Sous Chefs
- Establish clear ownership and accountability across kitchen teams and outlets
- Ensure strong financial performance through labor management, food cost control, and purchasing strategies
Ideal Candidate:
- 10+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience
- Proven success leading high-volume kitchens and/or multi-unit operations
- Strong financial acumen, including food cost, labor, and P&L management
- Experience building and developing high-performing culinary leadership teams
- Skilled in designing efficient kitchen systems, prep structures, and service flow
- Ability to balance innovation with operational discipline
- Comfortable working closely with ownership and cross-functional leadership
This is a hands-on leadership role, particularly in the early stages, with a focus on stabilizing operations, refining systems, and elevating team performance across the portfolio. Evening and weekend availability is required.
