Position: General Manager - Bakery

Compensation: $90,000–$105,000 base salary

Schedule: Full-time | Weekend availability required

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven General Manager to lead a high-performing, quality-focused bakery concept. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving team performance, and delivering a warm, consistent guest experience.


This position serves as a hands-on leader, maintaining an active presence on the floor while building and developing a strong team. The ideal candidate brings a balance of operational discipline, people leadership, and a genuine passion for hospitality within a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.


What you bring to the table:

  • Strong ability to lead daily operations while maintaining an elevated and consistent guest experience
  • Hands-on leadership style with a visible presence on the floor during peak service periods
  • Experience hiring, training, and developing front-of-house teams
  • Proven ability to build a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, staffing levels, and labor efficiency
  • Experience managing inventory, ordering, and product quality standards
  • Ability to oversee cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards
  • Comfort managing store-level financials, including labor and cost controls
  • Strong organizational skills to manage reporting, payroll inputs, and administrative tasks

Required Work Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in a General Manager or senior leadership role
  • Background in bakery, café, fast-casual, or hospitality-driven environments
  • Experience managing day-to-day operations in a high-volume setting
  • Strong understanding of team leadership, scheduling, and operational systems


Preferred Work Experience:

  • Experience managing store-level P&L and financial performance
  • Exposure to multi-unit or growth-oriented environments
  • Familiarity with inventory systems, reporting tools, and compliance standards
