Restaurant Manager ~ Fine Dining

Location: San Francisco, CA

Base Salary: $80,000-$90,000 DOE

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of a high-volume, upscale dining restaurant in San Francisco. This role is responsible for leading front-of-house service, driving exceptional guest experiences, and supporting a strong, team-oriented culture.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong operational discipline, and is passionate about hospitality excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations
• Lead by example on the floor, maintaining a strong and visible presence during service
• Supervise, schedule, and delegate responsibilities to front-of-house team members
• Foster a culture of exceptional hospitality and guest experience
• Train, coach, and develop FOH staff to ensure consistency in service standards
• Maintain a high-energy, fast-paced environment with professionalism and attention to detail
• Ensure all operational policies, procedures, and service standards are upheld
• Support ongoing staff development, performance management, and team engagement
• Assist in resolving guest concerns and operational challenges in real time
• Collaborate with BOH and leadership teams to ensure seamless service execution

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant environment
• Proven ability to lead teams in high-volume service settings
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience training and developing high-performing front-of-house teams
• Passion for hospitality and delivering elevated guest experiences

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $80,000 – $90,000
