Creative growing brand is seeking a Director of Event Sales or Senior Sales Manager to lead the Event Sales team for this pivotal Boston opening. This is a lively, fun and experiential hospitality concept that has locations in NYC, DC and Las Vegas. They are now coming into Boston with a prime Back Bay location and looking for seasoned events professional.


The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving group sales performance at the venue level by managing inbound inquiries, building local client relationships, and converting leads into revenue. This role serves as the key liaison between the on-site operations team and the centralized Sales Team, ensuring seamless coordination and communication. In addition to meeting revenue targets, the Senior Sales Manager provides leadership within the venue, setting a high standard of professionalism and accountability.  

  

Our perfect candidate has:  

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a comparable role (leadership, mentorship, and training of a sales team) preferably in hospitality 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the local Boston market 
  • Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional experience 
  • Proven track record in a strategic Sales Management role 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills 
  • Ability to manage sales in a high-volume environment with an emphasis on outstanding customer service 
  • Has a personal commitment to organizational excellence; displays honesty, integrity, and a strong ethical approach in all decisions and actions 
  • Ability to apply a high level of commercial acumen to all aspects of strategic planning and execution of sales strategy including in the face of market shifts and evolving competition 
  • A natural leader and mentor, leading by example, fostering a culture of accountability, and thrives in fast-paced, guest-focused environments
