Job Title: Executive Chef (Multi-Unit – Italian Cuisine)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to oversee culinary operations across multiple restaurant locations specializing in Italian cuisine. This role is responsible for driving consistency, quality, and operational excellence while leading and developing kitchen teams across all units. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of Italian culinary traditions with the ability to execute at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all culinary operations across multiple restaurant locations, ensuring consistency in food quality, presentation, and execution
- Develop and maintain Italian-inspired menus that align with brand standards and seasonal availability
- Lead, train, and mentor Executive Sous Chefs, CDCs, and BOH teams across all units
- Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all locations
- Manage food and labor costs, inventory controls, and purchasing to meet financial targets
- Standardize recipes, prep procedures, and kitchen systems across all units
- Partner with operations leadership to align culinary execution with overall business goals
- Support new restaurant openings, including kitchen setup, hiring, and training
- Conduct regular site visits, audits, and performance evaluations of culinary teams
- Drive innovation while maintaining authenticity in Italian cuisine
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience up to an Executive Chef or Regional Chef in a multi-unit environment
- Strong background in Italian cuisine, including regional techniques and ingredients
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing culinary teams across multiple locations
- Solid understanding of P&L management, cost controls, and kitchen operations
- Experience with high-volume, upscale, or fine dining concepts preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to travel between locations as needed
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary based on experience: $100,000-$120,000
- Bonus potential tied to performance metrics
