Multi-Unit Corporate Trainer
Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer / Executive Leadership Team
Annual Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 DOE
Job Status: Full-Time / In-Person
Position Summary
The Multi-Unit Corporate Trainer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining operational training programs across multiple restaurant locations. This role ensures consistency in service standards, guest experience, leadership development, operational execution, and financial performance throughout the organization.
The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality professional with a strong operational background who can effectively train, coach, mentor, and support both management and hourly teams. This individual will serve as a key partner in maintaining company culture, improving operational performance, and driving consistency across all locations.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve training programs for managers and hourly team members.
- Create and maintain training materials, operational manuals, SOPs, and learning resources.
- Manage company learning platforms and ensure completion of all required training programs.
- Conduct classroom, virtual, and hands-on training sessions across multiple locations.
- Support onboarding and orientation programs for new hires and management teams.
Operational Excellence
- Conduct regular restaurant visits, operational audits, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure consistent execution of service standards, food quality standards, and hospitality expectations.
- Identify operational opportunities and implement corrective action plans.
- Reinforce company culture, accountability, and performance expectations across all locations.
- Assist with rollout and implementation of new systems, menu initiatives, and operational procedures.
Leadership Development
- Coach and mentor General Managers, Assistant Managers, and department leaders.
- Support leadership development programs focused on accountability, communication, and team performance.
- Partner with management teams to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall restaurant performance.
- Assist with succession planning and talent development initiatives.
New Restaurant Openings & Special Projects
- Support new restaurant openings, remodels, rebranding initiatives, and operational transitions.
- Assist with training and development plans for newly opened locations.
- Partner with operations leadership on special projects and strategic initiatives.
Financial & Business Performance
- Support restaurants in achieving labor, food cost, inventory, and profitability goals.
- Review operational metrics and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide actionable recommendations and follow-up plans to improve results and drive accountability.
- Assist leadership teams in achieving sales growth and guest satisfaction objectives.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of multi-unit restaurant management, training, or operations experience.
- Strong background in full-service restaurant operations preferred.
- Experience developing and delivering training programs for hospitality teams.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and coaching abilities.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Ability to influence and motivate teams at all levels of the organization.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including both front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles and operational environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, learning management systems, and restaurant technology platforms.
- Toast & Restaurant 365 experience is preferred
- KickFin experience is preferred
- Paychex Flex experience is preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Frequent travel between restaurant locations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
Work Environment
This position operates in a fast-paced restaurant environment and requires regular interaction with guests, employees, and leadership teams. The role involves both office-based and field-based responsibilities and may require travel to support multiple locations, training initiatives, and restaurant openings.
