A prominent hospitality group is seeking a Director of Catering & Events to lead private dining and event operations at a luxury lifestyle hotel. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing all catering sales, event planning, and execution across the property, delivering both exceptional guest experiences and strong financial results.The ideal candidate is a polished, service-driven professional with proven experience managing event sales in excess of $4 million annually within a fine dining, upscale hospitality brand or luxury hotel setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all private events and catering sales, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and social functions
• Lead and mentor a high-performing events team to deliver elevated, seamless guest experiences
• Manage full-cycle event execution, from initial inquiry through post-event feedback
• Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to develop customized menus and packages
• Drive sales performance and ensure profitability through strategic outreach and cost control
• Uphold the highest standards of service, organization, and communication
• Serve as a culture leader and brand ambassador for the hospitality team

Qualifications:

• 4+ years in a Catering or Events leadership role, preferably in fine dining or luxury hotel environments
• Proven ability to manage and grow an event program generating $4M+ in annual sales
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and guest-centric
• Experience in team training and development
• Proficient in CRM and property management systems; strong analytical and administrative skills
