Position: Guest Services Manager
Location: New York City
Compensation: $80,000 annually + comprehensive benefits
A luxury hospitality group is seeking a polished and guest-centric Guest Services Manager to oversee VIP relations at a premier dining destination in New York City. This role is responsible for building lasting relationships with high-profile clientele, elevating the guest experience, and driving loyalty through strategic outreach, personalized service, and curated experiences.
Reports to: General Manager (GM)
Key Responsibilities:
♦ Serve as the primary liaison for VIP guests, ensuring their experience is elevated, personal, and seamless from start to finish
♦ Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals to encourage loyalty and repeat business
♦ Identify high-spending guests and proactively engage with them to ensure tailored service and consistent satisfaction
♦ Maintain an updated VIP database in 7Rooms, capturing preferences, history, and key guest notes
♦ Brief the host team daily on VIP arrivals and ensure all front-of-house staff are informed on guest profiles
♦ Collaborate with the General Manager and Chefs to ensure the team is well-prepared to deliver flawless service
♦ Conduct daily service briefings highlighting notable VIP guests, their preferences, and booking logistics
♦ Handle VIP booking requests directly, ensuring white-glove service and attention to detail
♦ Proactively attract new high-profile guests through networking, strategic partnerships, and community outreach
♦ Coordinate exclusive dining experiences, private events, and bespoke services for top clientele
♦ Manage any VIP concerns with discretion, empathy, and professionalism
♦ Serve as the key point of contact for a partner gallery’s reservations and event coordination
♦ Represent the restaurant at high-profile events and maintain industry relationships to support business development
♦ Monitor hospitality trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for enhancing guest engagement
Ideal Candidate:
♦ Background in luxury restaurants, five-star hotels, private clubs, or similar upscale environments
♦ Strong presence and network in NYC’s dining, culture, and lifestyle scenes
♦ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage high-profile individuals authentically
♦ Passionate about service and understands the nuances of luxury hospitality
♦ Impeccable attention to detail, polished presentation, and calm under pressure
♦ Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
♦ Discreet, tactful, and experienced in handling confidential matters
♦ Flexible schedule to accommodate evenings, weekends, and VIP events as needed
Compensation & Benefits:
♦ Base salary: $80,000 annually
