Director of Kitchen Operations – Northern California

Position Overview:

As an Director of Kitchen Operations, you’ll be the driving force behind multi-unit culinary excellence. You will be responsible for maintaining food quality, operational efficiency, safety standards, and team performance across multiple locations. You’ll lead with precision and inspiration, helping to scale the business while protecting the integrity of our menu and guest experience.


Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership – Manage daily kitchen operations across all assigned locations, ensuring consistency, accountability, and top-tier execution.

Food Quality & Safety – Enforce high standards for ingredient sourcing, food safety protocols, and culinary excellence.

Growth & Expansion – Support expansion initiatives by assisting in the opening of new kitchens and standardizing scalable systems.

Team Development – Recruit, train, and lead high-performing culinary and operations teams while promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Efficiency & Innovation – Identify opportunities to optimize kitchen processes and implement best-in-class systems to improve productivity.

Cost & Inventory Management – Oversee purchasing, inventory, and budget management to drive cost efficiency without sacrificing quality.

Guest Experience – Ensure that every dish served meets our uncompromising standards for freshness, cleanliness, and flavor.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in high-volume kitchen operations, with at least 3 years in a multi-unit leadership role
  • Demonstrated success in scaling operations and launching new units
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and compliance regulations
  • Financial management experience, including budgeting, inventory control, and cost optimization
  • Deep passion for high-quality, clean food and ingredient sourcing
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills
  • Language preference – Bilingual (fluent in English & Spanish)
